For fourteen years, I have been a “big brother”/mentor to a young man, now 18, who was raised by two lesbian moms and just left for college. He has forever changed and enriched my life.

I welcome the opportunity to be a mentor again, this time as a known sperm donor for a lesbian or lesbian couple that wants their child to have an on-going relationship with the male donor. My dream is to help bring another being into this world and be, at the mother’s discretion, a loving male presence in a child’s life. I am looking to play an "uncle" role, not that of a co-parent. As a known donor, in accordance with a California law that protects sperm donors and recipients, I would ship sperm through my doctor’s office to make ensure the mother controls all legal rights and responsibilities.

In my 40’s, 5’10’’, highly responsible, I am in excellent health, HIV neg., with high fertility numbers, accomplished, educated (Masters), athletic, and descend from two loving and long-lived Spanish families.  I reside in SF (for 20 years), work as a partner in a business strategy firm, have a steady boyfriend, live a full and interesting life, and possess a balance of strength and sensitivity, which kids seem to appreciate.

Ideally, I would like to be a mentor for a child as well as share my family’s good genes. I am respectful of others boundaries, and do not want to be involved in any of the parental decision-making.
